About This Event
Veterans often present with complex psychiatric and medical needs. Chronic conditions such as tinnitus, sleep apnea, and chronic pain are common in veterans, and are comorbid with mental health diagnoses such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. This course provides an overview of the overlap between chronic health conditions, trauma, and mental health, equipping care team members with a holistic, collaborative lens for addressing veteran healthcare needs and wellbeing. This course was designed for an interprofessional audience.
