About This Event
The seventh Sensing with Quantum Light workshop is held on board the river cruise ship MS Swiss Crown, sailing from Cologne through the Netherlands and Belgium and back, with four nights on board and three full days of scientific program plus poster sessions and informal discussion. Topics include quantum light detection, quantum light in astronomy, squeezed light for noise reduction, spectroscopy, frequency-comb optics, nonlinear interferometers, high-dimensional entanglement, entangled two-photon absorption, sensing at extreme wavelengths, AI-boosted quantum sensing, and new light-based sensing modalities. The scientific organizers are Sven Ramelow (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ferdinand-Braun-Institut) and Frank Kühnemann (Fraunhofer IPM).
