About This Event

This workshop provides an introduction to nail-down installation process. Includes jobsite evaluation, acclimation, and subfloor preparation. Attendees will get hands-on experience using the tools needed for the job, laying out working lines, fastener schedules, expansion space and the steps for a successful nail-down installation. Learning Objectives Identify different types of wood flooring. Understand moisture testing and acclimation requirements. Understand subfloor requirements and preparation. Identify tools needed for a proper nail-down installation. Understand how to lay-out and rack the floor. Understand the proper nail-down installation process, including fastener schedules and expansion spaces.
