About This Event
Cowboy Junkies present a set that reaches from The Trinity Session to their recent album Such Ferocious Beauty. Formed in Toronto in 1985 by siblings Michael, Margo and Peter Timmins with bassist Alan Anton, the quartet built its reputation on a quiet, reflective sound that blends folk, blues and rock. Their 1988 release The Trinity Session became a landmark, selling over a million copies and standing apart from the flash of the late 80s. With a catalog of 29 albums and no breakups or hiatuses, the band’s long running chemistry continues to shape their music. This concert surveys that history with songs spanning decades.
