About This Event
As advances in informatics make whole-genome sequencing (WGS) increasingly practical for routine oncology research, laboratories are moving beyond targeted panel-based approaches to access a broader spectrum of genomic variation and achieve more comprehensive tumor characterization from a single assay. Combining WGS with multiomic analyses, including methylomic and fragmentomic profiling, can provide a richer understanding of cancer biology. This session explores how Illumina’s informatics ecosystem, including DRAGEN, powers seamless analysis of WGS and methylation data. Attendees will learn how these analyses support tissue characterization, biomarker discovery, and tumor-naïve ctDNA-based approaches.
