About This Event
The third International Conference on Quantum and Nonlinear Optics, following editions in 2018 and 2019, held at the Connexion Conference and Event Centre in Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur, about a kilometer from the entrance to Universiti Malaya. The conference is built around quantum nonlinear optics, where quantum effects coexist with nonlinear optics under strong fields or strong matter-light coupling, opening possibilities such as miniaturizing quantum technology onto integrated optical chips, with particular promise for quantum optical information processors and quantum AI. Topics span quantum optics, information, communication and computation, coherence and entanglement, optomechanics, nanophotonics, metamaterials, plasmonics, photonics, ultracold quantum gases, cavity quantum electrodynamics, nonlinear spectroscopy and microscopy, nonlinear optical materials and devices, laser-matter interactions, ultrafast laser science, optical fibers and metrology, and quantum photonic integration. Best poster awards are judged by the plenary speakers, and students can apply for waived registration fees and travel support.
