About This Event

SPIE Quantum West is the quantum conference program within SPIE Photonics West, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. It offers a forum for researchers, engineers, technology companies, investors, and governments working to build a quantum-enabled future, with topics spanning Quantum 2.0, quantum biology, and quantum science and technology more broadly. Conference tracks cover quantum information systems, quantum communications, quantum computing and simulation, quantum sensing, imaging and precision metrology, enabling materials, devices and techniques, quantum effects and measurement techniques in biology and biophotonics, complex light and optical forces, and nonclassical biology and quantum biophotonics. The Quantum West Business Summit takes up the practical challenges of commercializing new quantum technologies for the marketplace. Quantum technologies are also represented on the show floor as part of the Photonics West Exhibition, which runs 2 to 4 February 2027. The 2027 call for papers is open, and post-deadline abstracts are still being accepted.
