About This Event
Now in its 14th year, this community meal effort brings people and partners together to provide nourishment for those experiencing homelessness. LUE Productions and LUE Productions Community Umbrella Services coordinate the event with support from collaborators including the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce, YouthBuild Charter School, and Youth Power Community Solutions. The aim is simple, to ensure no one goes hungry during this season, echoing the spirit of Proverbs 22:9. To help assemble complete meals, the organizers are seeking donations such as 30 boxes of mashed potato mix, 30 large cans of green beans, 30 large cans of corn, rolls, cranberry sauce, food containers, gravy packets, resealable bags, napkins, utensils, cakes and pies, foil, and 500 bottles of water. There are designated windows for dropping off contributions and for cooks to pick up supplies. Monetary contributions are also welcome via CashApp at $Lueproductions or through Zelle at 909-567-1000.
