About This Event
High Desert Spades Society brings a Bah Humbug Edition to Victorville, blending holiday cheer with playful Grinch energy for the final gathering of the year. Whether you are here for Christmas vibes or just the food, drinks, and card games, the tables are open to all. Expect lively Spades and Dominoes, music that ranges from seasonal classics to party tracks, holiday treats, raffles and prizes, and plenty of good-natured end-of-year banter. Festive looks and ugly sweaters are encouraged, and there is an optional White Elephant gift exchange for those who want to swap surprises. Simple house rules keep the fun rolling. Bring a bottle and leave a bottle... non-alcoholic options count. Talk all the trash you like, but take losses with a smile. If you are new to counting cards in Spades, there is a table set aside for beginners. Entry is $10, which helps feed the crowd and covers food, raffles, and prizes. Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo are accepted, and anyone short on funds is still welcome. The evening also includes year-end recognition for standout players, big personalities, top-tier trash-talkers, and unforgettable moments. It is a community-centered celebration with cards, music, food, and a little holiday mischief in Victorville.
