About This Event
In its 20th year, Defense Forum Washington will bring together senior military, government officials, Members of Congress, industry executives, and academia to address the nation’s most pressing defense issues. Strategy defines America’s defense priorities. Resources determine whether they can be achieved. Real-world conflict reveals where the gaps remain. The 2026 Defense Forum Washington will examine whether the United States can translate its national defense strategy and maritime priorities into combat power that can be resourced, produced, and sustained. Drawing on lessons from Ukraine, Iran and other recent conflicts, the forum will explore what current operations have revealed about force readiness, munitions depth, industrial capacity, and America’s ability to deter one adversary while responding to another—and what government, Congress, and industry must do differently as a result.
