About This Event

This training will focus on four particular areas of post conviction proceedings. Penal Code 1172.1 resentencings are invitations to the court. The law will be covered, as will court strategies. CDCR records are essential to the litigation of these motions, this portion will cover what you should be asking for, what to look for, and how to argue against the AG if they oppose your SDT of records. Inmates entitled to youthful offender parole are allowed to file Franklin motions in certain cases.
