About This Event
The 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival runs November 5 to 15, 2026. Organized by Argentina's National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF), this is a Class A festival — the same certification held by Cannes, Venice, and Berlin. The festival's purpose, as set out in its own rules, is "to stimulate encounters between members of the national and international film industry and to present films of all genres, accompanied by their representatives, to contribute to the development of culture and the progress of the audiovisual industry."
