About This Event

ADRP 2026 International Showcase Extreme Weather and Disruption: Building a Climate-Resilient Donor Program. This complementary session will provide lessons in resilience from blood centers around the world. Hear how extreme heat, floods, storms, wildfires, severe winter weather, transportation challenges, or other climate-related events affected donor recruitment or collection operations and how responses were evaluated. While these challenges vary by region, the lessons can be shared. Hearing how other blood centers prepared, adapted, and recovered can help all of us strengthen our preparedness and respond more effectively when disruption occurs.
